Chain saw, also known as chainsaw, is a gasoline-powered portable saw, mainly used for logging and lumbering, its working principle is to rely on the staggered L-shaped blade on the saw chain lateral movement to shear action. Gasoline saw chain oil selection.
1. Gasoline can only use unleaded gasoline of 90 or more. When adding gasoline, the gas tank cover and around the fueling port must be cleaned before refueling to avoid debris entering the tank. High branch saw to be placed in a flat place, so that the gas tank cover facing up. When refueling, do not let the gasoline spill out and do not fill the tank too full. After refueling, make sure to tighten the tank cap by hand as much as possible.
2. Oil can only use high-quality two-stroke engine oil to ensure that the engine has a long service life, do not use ordinary four-stroke engines. When using other two-stroke engine oil, its type should reach tc grade quality. Poor quality gasoline or oil can damage the engine, seals, oil passages and oil tank.
3. Gasoline and oil mixing, mixing ratio: using high branch saw engine special two-stroke engine oil for 1:50, that is, 1 part of the engine oil plus 50 parts of gasoline; using other engine oil in line with the tc grade for 1:25, that is, 1 part of the engine oil plus 25 parts of gasoline. Mixing method is to allow a fuel tank in the first pour into the oil, and then filled with gasoline, mixed well. Gasoline oil mixture will be aging, the general configuration should not exceed the amount of a month of use. To pay special attention is to avoid direct contact between gasoline and skin, to avoid breathing gasoline volatile out of the gasoline.

4. Use high quality chain saw chain lubricant and keep the lubricant no lower than the oil level to reduce the wear and tear of the chain and saw teeth. As the chain saw lubricant will be completely discharged into the environment, ordinary lubricant is petroleum-based, non-biodegradable, will pollute the environment, it is recommended to try to use degradable environmental protection chain saw oil, many developed countries have hard regulations on this to avoid environmental pollution.

Gasoline saw chain precautions.
1. Check the tension of the saw chain frequently, please turn off the engine and wear protective gloves when checking and adjusting. The appropriate tension is when the chain is hung on the lower part of the guide plate, and the chain can be pulled by hand.
2. There must always be a little oil spilled on the chain. Every time before working, you must check the chain lubrication and oil level of lubricating oil tank. The chain must never work without lubrication. If you work with a dry chain, it will cause the cutting device to be damaged.
3. Never use old oil. Old oil cannot meet the lubrication requirements and is not applicable to chain lubrication. 
4. If the oil level in the oil tank does not decrease, it may be a fault of lubrication delivery. Chain lubrication should be checked and the oil circuit should be inspected. Poor lubricant supply can also result from passing through a contaminated screen. The lubricating oil screen in the oil tank and pump connection piping should be cleaned or replaced.
5. After replacing and installing the new chain, the saw chain needs a break-in time of 2 to 3 minutes. Check the chain tension after break-in and readjust if necessary. New chains need to be tensioned more often than chains that have been used for a while. In the cold state the chain must be held against the lower part of the guide plate, but the chain can be moved by hand on the upper guide plate. If necessary, the chain should be tensioned again. When the working temperature is reached, the saw chain expands and sags slightly, and the drive section in the lower part of the guide plate must not come out of the chain groove, otherwise the chain will jump the groove and the chain needs to be re-tensioned.
6. The chain must be relaxed after working. The chain will contract when it cools down, and the chain without relaxation will damage the crankshaft and bearings. If the chain is tensioned in working condition, then the chain will shrink when it cools down, and the over-tightened chain will damage the crankshaft and bearings.
