1. Not grounded
Submersible pumps take protective grounding is a national mandatory standard requirements. Only take the protection of grounding, to ensure the use of personal safety. If there is no protective grounding, once the shell leakage, the submersible pump outlet water and pumping water surface charged, endangering the safety of people and animals, while wasting a lot of electricity. If the metal shell of the submersible pump and the national standard grounding body (grounding resistance of not more than 4Ω) grounding connection, when the submersible pump shell leakage, the current through the submersible pump metal shell, protective grounding wire, grounding body, earth, transformer work grounding wire and power supply to form a closed circuit, when the leakage current is too large, especially when the fire line touches the shell, it can make the submersible pump protection device action (fuse fuse or (air switch tripped), cut off the leakage submersible pump power.
2. No installation of leakage protector
Submersible pumps work in the water, easy to leakage of electricity caused by the loss of electricity or even cause electric shock accidents. If equipped with a leakage protector, as long as the submersible pump leakage value exceeds the leakage protector action current value (generally not more than 30 mA), the leakage protector will cut off the power supply of the submersible pump.
3. Power supply voltage abnormal when the power on
The voltage is too high and too low will make the submersible pump temperature rise too high, shorten the service life and even burn the submersible pump. In rural areas, due to the long low-voltage power supply lines, the voltage at the end of the line is too low and the voltage at the beginning is too high. Therefore, in the process of using the submersible pump, the operator must always observe the value of the power supply voltage, if it is less than 10% of the rated voltage, more than 10% above the rated voltage, or the current is greater than 20% of the rated current of the submersible pump, should immediately shut down, and avoid abnormal power supply voltage when the power is on.
4. Motor rotation in the opposite direction
Now there are many types of submersible pumps forward and reverse can be water, but the reverse rotation of the water output is small, high current, reverse time will damage the motor windings. Therefore, submersible electric pumps should be connected to the power supply before entering the water to check whether the direction of rotation is correct. If the impeller of the three-phase submersible pump reverses, it should be stopped immediately and the wiring of any two phases of the three-phase core in the cable should be changed.
5. Long-term overload workTo avoid long-term overload work of submersible electric pump, do not use the low head pump for high head work, do not pump the water with a large amount of sand (heavy mud), and always observe whether the current value is within the specified range. If the current is found to be too high, it should bestopped for inspection. In addition, the submersible pump to water as a cooling source, therefore, the submersible pump dewatering operation time should not be too long.
6. Frequent switching
The submersible pump should not be started too often, this is because the submersible pump will produce backflow when it stops, if it is started immediately, it will make the motor load start, resulting in too much starting current. Therefore, after stopping, wait for the water in the tube to be refluxed before starting again, generally need an interval of about 5 min.
7. Use in silt environment
If the submersible pump is sunk in the mud, it will cause poor heat dissipation and burn the motor winding. Therefore, the submersible pump must not be used in the mud environment. In order to prevent the submersible pump from sinking into the mud, the mud should be removed from the working environment before the submersible pump is put into the water, and a fence cover should be used to cover the submersible pump when possible, so as to avoid the waste blocking the water inlet fence, resulting in motor heating and poor water discharge.
8. Put in the water for a long time after decommissioning and do not care
If the submersible pump is not used continuously after it is put into the water, it will rust and corrode for a long time, resulting in failure to start. Therefore, do not leave the submersible pump in the water, it should be turned on once a week, run 5-10min. when not in use for a long time, it is best not to immerse in water for a long time, should be put in clear water to run for a few minutes, clean the mud inside and outside the pump, and then put forward the water to dry, a major inspection, disassemble all the parts to overhaul, scrub, remove rust and scale, replace the wearing parts, and then reassemble well. After painting and rust prevention, put it in a dry, non-corrosive gas storage room.
